We combine three areas of experience: environmental consulting; energy efficiency consulting; and sustainability and climate strategies planning.

We work on the definition of strategies, plans, programmes and projects, always on the basis of the appropriate scale (territorial, urban, neighbourhood, building or productive sector) and the socio-political, economic and socio-environmental conditions in which it is developed.

1994

The beginning

A doctor in biology and sociologist, Ramon Folch founded Estudi Ramon Folch. It went on to become an independent energy, environment and sustainability consultancy that aims to help and support companies and institutions in their sustainable transformation.
2013

Ivan Capdevila, ERF director

With a cross-disciplinary education in engineering, the environment and humanities added to an extensive professional career within the sustainability sector, he became a partner and Director of Estudi Ramon Folch and, since 2000, has broadened his experience through his role as Technical Director. He also works on management and business development.
2023

WATTEGA is the product of the merger between ARCbcn and ERF

ERF merged with the engineering firm, ARCbcn, which specialised in complex installations and innovation projects, in order to create WATTEGA, a solid business project whose purpose is to make our society more sustainable.

Expert team

We form a multidisciplinary team of professionals: engineers, biologists, environmentalists, architects, communication experts...

Integrated policy and environmental performance

With the aim of continuing being benchmarks in the environmental consulting and energy efficiency sector, and with the commitment to continue implementing environmental management systems in our day-to-day life, ERF has been recognized with the Integrated System of Management of rules ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
